A projectionist (Chuck McCann) who is bored with his everyday life starts fantasizing about his being one of the superheroes (Captain Flash) he sees in the films he shows. He also imagines that the theater owner named Renaldi (Rodney Dangerfield) is a villain known as The Bat.
